Forget Baby Peach, why the heck did DRY BOWSER, who has appeared in two spinoffs (including this one) and one main game, (that I know of) been included over Baby Luigi? At least Baby Peach was playable (Yoshi's Island DS) instead of being a boss.
However, we can all agree that Baby Daisy as a character makes no sense and should never be in any game ever. She never actually existed outside of spinoffs, and while you could argue the same for Waluigi, Waluigi is unique instead of being a copy. Although I suppose you could also say Baby Luigi was a copy, at least he's been in Yoshi's Island.

He's been in 3 Main Games. NSMB,NSMB2 and 3D Land.

Funny thing is, Baby Luigi was never a re-colored character, unlike Luigi. He may look the same as Baby Mario, but he never was a recolor.
Baby Luigi is still a copy....sort of. But he's a top quality awesome copy that deserves more playable appearances because I said so.

Dry Bowser has enough differences to be his own character, hard to believe.
Also, he was in the original NSMB on the DS, the godawful NSMB2, and 3DLand.

Nintendo should just add all the characters then nobody can complain.
And if anything was a wasted character slot it was the QR characters, they're just recolors of the same character with a different attribute, if anything that's all just lazy, it would have been best if they added other characters instead and simply put some type of color palette to get all those color yoshi's.

I like Rosalina, so I would've liked her to be in the game. Used her in both MK games she appeared and if she returns in another Multiplayer I'd be happy and'll make her my main there as well.
Though I'm also curious why Mercedes Rose didn't voice her in MK7. Then again, she's an actor, maybe she was busy with something else. And her replacement actress does sound similar. Still wonder why Nintendo couldn't reuse her voice clips (or Retro Studios for that matter). *shrug*
Oh well...
But Luma had a more prominent role, so I won't mind. There's still a next time. Also, Lumas are cute.
As for the babies, I don't like them. The good thing? Only two are in the game, so I won't complain.
I'm also no big fan of having the same character more than once in the roster as different entity, thought that Metal Mario was an odd choice for MK7, but so were most unlockables in that game. Honey Queen took the cake, though. But for some odd reason, I think Dry Bowser is kind of cool.
The Yoshi recolours are much worse. I don't see why Nintendo couldn't add different characters instead. The series has plenty of characters to offer.
