- Difficulty:
- Just Right
- Time Spent:
- 10 to 20 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Just plain fun"
MotN is simply an amazing and satisfying 2d pure stealth experience that can rival some of the big budget "stealth" games made today.
The GOOD:
- great flowing level design with secrets and many many different ways to finish a level.
- The animations look great, unique art style, and stunning backgrounds vaguely anime/art deco inspired.
- Alot of replayability. And they never punish you in this game.
- Some amazing hunter or hunted stealth gameplay. You can play as you see fit. Stealthy, aggressive, or a mix.
- Plenty of gadgets, upgrades, and unique costumes with their own abilities urge you to play in new ways.
The BAD:
- No speedrun option. Not a hindrance but wouldve been perfect.
- Some costumes make you so dark you get lost in shadows when things get hectic.
- On one level I kept being restarted at a checkpoint right next to a high powered enemy that would automatically kill me.
- The ending is beautiful and thought provoking, but not at all rewarding imo.
Overall MotN is one of the best Ninja games Ive played in a long time. For only $15 it is a steal. Ive already logged in more than 15 hours and I plan on playing alot more. If you have been frothing at the mouth for a GOOD stealth game like I have, run dont walk to download this gem.
