No need to worry, this DLC is worth the $7!

- "Immersive"
I was critical of the first Mass Effect because I felt it did a lot of things but none of them very well. Mass Effect 2's story felt a little shallow (Shephard being my least favorite character) but it excelled in every other aspect so much that I have beaten it and beaten all missions and DLC. Kasumi was a very disappointing purchase because it lasted less then 2 hours and the story itself felt a little mundane (why should I help some thief when the galaxy is coming to an end?). Overlord executes precisely what is what I believe to be the weakest aspect of the Mass Effect series: the story. Mass Effect's story is itself isn't bad but I feel like all the characters are so emotionless and overly serious that some comedy and diversity a la KOTOR (my first Bioware game and favorite). But Overlord nails the story by providing an interesting and eventually emotionally immersive story that had me rewatching the end several times. Pass on Kasumi and get this. BTW, the new world is pretty.

Overlord is a fun add-on with a great sense of atmosphere and a lot of gameplay variety.

Overlord is a very decent addition to ME2's DLC library. Definitely worth downloading.

Solid action marred by the abominable Hammerhead.

- A screenshot of my gameplay, original 1680x1050. Taken in the first city, I'm amazed with the water, all Ultra HIGH, and FPS always above 40!Posted Sep 5, 2008
