the way shepard said his "evidence" reminds me that garrus and tali are the veterans of the game...it also reminds me that they were the ones supporting my soldier due to their tech class...

Actually MacenKrace, aside from the Baldurs gate series we've never technically made any sequels (unless you count the NWN expansion packs) - KOTOR 2 and NWN 2 were both made by other studios using our engine/content ;-) But that's all changing now ;) And good ear Pryst, Shohreh Aghdashloo is in ME 2.

Nice. Tali and Wrex are the only characters I really liked in ME1.

Yah ashley better be in this one she was my Favorite and Wrex too.

@ MATTHEW820 It depends on everything on whether characters return. Save Kaiden or Ashley the one saved will appear in ME 2 and Wrex if he isnt killed. Although its possible none of them will come back if you dont have a save of ME 1.

Tali was my favorite squad member in the first game! I'm really excited to see she's back AND has a bigger, more prominent role this time.

This i will pre order saving the time to hunt one down. She one of my favrite people throughout thinks she likes you lol.But really im glad she is back.

I'm so glad this is coming out next month. It have been a long wait.

@Syphon2004 I agree with you 100% of the way, though my personal choice of characters to bring back would in clude garrus. Allthough I doubt Wrex and Ashley will be in ME2 since there was the possible out come of both dying

Awesome. I had Tali in my squad most of the time to use her abilities. Good to so she's still around.

Sweet, they brought my favorite character back, now all I need is Liara, Wrex and Ashley (was always funny watching Ash get jealous of Liara), then I'm good with the older characters. I think it's cool you get to see more of the Quarrians in this, sucks that it's with them banishing Tali, but it their loss :P To add to the Kaiden/Ashley conversation, I think they were meaning to carry on one of the two depending on which one you sacrificed, same with Wrex, but then again things change between games in a series all the time.

Tali kicked much butt in the first game and she can ride with me any day.

@Vargre666 You mean Kaiden right? It was my understanding that all the characters from the first game would return provided that you didn't kill them. So Ashley/Kaiden should be in ME2 and so should Wrex. What possible reason is there to leave out characters?

Of course Ashley and the dude, the engineer...what was his name...the human. Of course they're going to be gone. One of them died in the first Mass Effect. Garrus is here, Tali is here. Two is enough.

well we also need a little bit of surprise... if we knew exactly what was gonna happen in this game it almost defeats the purpose of it. These character reveals are probably revealing too much... all of the people who lack the self control to simple not watch it are probably ruining their games... buuut i can't help it! THIS GAME IS GONNA BE EPICZOR!

So Wrex is gone then I take it. What about Ashley, Liara and Garrus? are they gone as well and it's just Tali they brought back. I like new having new characters and all but come on, we need a little more familiarity then that.

This better not be a meh fest like the first one. I mean, all those planets with all those weak sauce missions.....

bioware always seems to make the best quality rpg's

@Lucas65 She was really good against Geth, especially at the last part of the game, also she was good for an anti biotic user. Nifty when you play as a soldier, anything else though you got covered.

She is an interesting character, but I never found much use for her in the 1st game.

@MacenKrace Bioware had nothing to do with NWN2, or its expansions. Obsidian made that game.

@cdodo I know bioware has a great history with sequels as I remember NWN 2 MotB, but I just don't remember EA being anywhere in the first game. (I remember how the NFS series died with most wanted).

If tali ever takes her suit off I'm gona sneeze on her to see what happens hahahahahha

Yeah bioware is awesome and yay for Tali =D my favorite char to use. Shake those hips Tali! x3 was able to get over the EA is the publisher last year.

@macenkrace true, EA does make shiiiit sequels... but lucky for us they are just the publisher. Bioware is actually making the game, and lucky for us they make great sequels (er sequel? as this is their only other sequel...) Baldur's Gate 2 was at least as great as the first if not better in my opinion, you've got thing to worry about.

bioware is making the game, ea is just the publisher, therefore this sequel is gonna be amazing and not be worse than the original

I used Tali a lot and I liked her backstory, glad she's back.

hmmm.. this is random but that voice sounds like the voice that made the call about Demitris death in Flashforward! hmm...

Tali was so boring in the first one. Maybe she'll be more interesting in this one. More back story and the like.

This game is going to be awesome! I had wondered why Tali doesn't go back to her people, guess now I know.

The voice and mask, just enough to attract and pull me or (anyone) to play this game.
