Mass Effect 3 is the conclusion to developer BioWare's action role-playing sci-fi trilogy and completes the story of its protagonist, Commander Shepard. This final game in the series follows the events of the Mass Effect 2 DLC pack "Arrival" and tracks Shepard's mission to save the galaxy from the malevolent Reapers by uniting disparate civilizations and encouraging them to fight together. Players with save game files from Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 have the option of importing them into Mass Effect 3 so that decisions made in these previous adventures have a direct impact on the story.
