I like the synchronicity in chapter ten (spoilers)

I feel like this is where Max truly does something that makes him feel like he has atoned for what happened to Michelle and the baby. Think about it. The death of his wife and child and his inability to protect them ruined him. Now he's saving the life of a woman and her unborn child and giving Passos the chance Max never had. Also, it's significant in that Max is finally successful in an endeavor to save a woman's life, a first for the series.
