If you're the sort of gamer who loves the 3rd person, cover to cover, cutscene story-driven, and rewarding multiplayer then this is the game for you. I was surprised about the approach of the game, it seemed they focused a lot more on the story more than the actual gun gameplay mechanics. I definitely love Max Payne's story in this 3rd instalment of the Payne series, but I was expecting a little bit more in the gun gameplay. The gun mechanics were done well but I found it difficult to aim at something in free-aim causing me to fail the mission and start at the checkpoint again and again which got really annoying. It might just be me but i've crossed many titles like GTA and GRAW and think it was easier in those games. Anyway, the game's story will suck you in as the visual effects such as the twitching and the colour transitions are what help you go inside Max Payne's head, well not the booze and pills bit. All in all it's a great game to return to the series. The stunning visual effects, story-driven gameplay, and playing as "The Young Max" Ohhh the old days are coming back
