If you love die hard action movies,then you will probably love the game.
If some things are ignored in the game,then the game rocks.

Positive points
1) Full action game with a lot of fun and a lot of blood that will drive you mad for the game.Bullet time with dodge is fantastic and totally awesome.We can actually see bullets flying.It rocks.

2)Presentation is appreciable.The game is detailed at a very high level and it is exciting to watch and fun to play with.Lots of twists and turns.

3)Strong story and excellent character development.The dialogues of Max are sarcastic and funny.

Negative points.
1) Unrealistic gameplay. Max is shown so strong,ITS hard to believe that max is even human.He is immune to bullets and other crashes (for eg. Max falling on his shoulders ,his ribs ,his back etc) It is hard to believe and it is not digested easily and it nullifies the fun.

2)No planning.Max does no planning before entering an area full of thugs or even armed military soldiers.He is over confident of himself and jumps directly in the action .

3)Lack of stealth.Unlike splinter cell,there is no stealth mode.If max payne 4 is made,stealth should be added.

4)The gameplay is fluid in some areas of gameplay such as jumping etc.But cover system is not so satisfying as compared to gears of war.Going from cover to cover etc, is not there.It is to be done manually.

But overall the game is good.Inclusion of stealth and better cover machanics will surely improve the overall experience.It deserves 8.5 or 9 at the most.
