- "All it's cracked up to be"
Pros : Finally a satisfying single player campaign!!! Depth of story line / cutscenes; Wicked AI; new cover system; worthy voice talent; utilizing destructible environments; gameplay forces you to use ALL the options if you want to compete effectively - cover, bullet time, multiple paths, best use of weapons, etc. ; destructible environments; gameplay doesn't get stale; production values / rendering; produced as a true 'M' level game; trophy/skillshot catagories.; continuity of current weapon selection into EACH cutscene sequence; ability to PAUSE in cutscene; realistic rendering of multitude of the supporting characters as far as actions were concerned, they felt as real as the main characters - 'real' dancing was appreciated, not that jerky robotic 'dancing baby' crap that usually suffices.
Cons: final boss battle not at all satisfying after all the brutal hard work; should have chosen 'clues' or 'golden gun' searches instead of leaving both more irritating than fulfilling;

Its like a action Hollywood film, with a really good story line, with a bittersweet touch.

The third instalment in the Max Payne series is more style over substance, but is still a very good game.
