Yes, the cutscenes get annoying and the story isn't quite as good as the other two, but what max payne is about is awesome. Literally tearing apart people's skulls with perfectly aimed bullets in slo-mo is awesome and as good as it ever was. Max payne has always been about blowing a room of people away while your diving in slow motion.

The fact is I really want someone to tell me a third person shooter that has better gunplay than this one. Dead Space (GTFO), Uncharted-Not even in the same universe. Another gripe people say is the game is linear. DID YOU NOT PLAY THE OLD MAX PAYNES?! They are equally as linear, they were all narrow hallways and crusty motels. Really really terrible argument. One thing I do agree with is that the story is not the best, but it's not awful and has some funny/quirky points. It's a GAME you play it for fun, it's not gonna be an oscar winning performance. Some of you guys just need to appreciate a game for what it is and not give it like a "6" when you no damn well it's better than 80% of the games out there. That means it gets an "8" in my book. Then I go look at the fricking Just Cause 2 reviews and people rave about it, just because it's not as hyped as Max Payne.
