The Good:
Graphics are stellar.
Audio is very good.
The Bad:
Boring, same thing over and over again. No control, no freedom.
Too many cut scenes destroy the momentum and immersion.
Story is so so.
I realize the first 2 Max Paynes were linear but they were just flat out more interesting.
There's no imagination or reward in this game.
You do the same thing over and over and over again.
Run into a room, die, then die again, then kill all the bad guys move to the next room - repeat.
It is boring, monotonous, and no real challenge other than remembering to engage bullet time.
It could have been so much better.
At chapter 6 I couldn't take any more and deleted the game.
Finished.
