What made Max Payne 1 so great, this continues with updated graphics! Same great visuals, graphics, and awesome gameplay! If you loved max payne 1, and whether or not you played max payne 2, this is a MUST! There are some changed from original game, none of which ruin or alienate you from original game it is about same or better in that regards. The entire campaign is like reading a comic book as was the original game but more interactive, colorful, and fluid! Its easy to forget how much time has passed when playing this game.
There are some additions to game like medals and such as is customary for all the things since the achievement stuff from xbox seems to have caught on everywhere. I don't really care much for those and you can skip and not fret over it as it adds no game value. It doesn't help or hurt the game, but I guess if you are into medals this would be a plus for you. What is cool are the stuff you can find while you kill people, golden gun collecting is cool, not tedious or overly boring, just find 3 pieces and your fun gets extra perks! also finding clues and other stuff definitely make game more interesting and suspenseful as you try to figure out what or who is behind everything and uncover the story!

A great variety of cheesy cut scenes obscuring what could have been a good game.

High production value, but little to no game play variety.

- I took the image for the Max Payne 3 Special Edition and, because of the recent release date delay, edited it accordingly. I think it looks GREAT.Posted Jan 29, 2012
