- "Masterpiece"
If you are looking for getting the feeling you got from the first two installments of Max Payne then you should go and play this game right away. If you are looking for even more then that you should definitely go and get this masterpiece.
The action is absolutely solid. Bullet-time is as fun as ever and if you play the game on the hard setting you are facing a serious challenge. What got immediately my attention were the amazing graphics and detailed environments. You get the feeling of being in Sao-Paulo with all its glamour and favelas. The story is also great. It provides plenty of opportunity to see the man behind the mask of Max Payne. The plot has many turn-overs and you find yourself in unimaginable situations, from seeing main characters die, to betrayal of friends and to past times in New Jersey.
Somewhere in the middle of the game I expected to be close to the end, however, instead of that you get even more action until reaching the climax. This is a masterpiece among the other outstanding games of the series. If you are not a fan yet it is just the right to be become one.

After you get pass the first two levels this turns out to be one hell of a game. Gameplay is better than gears and duty

While the gameplay is lacking, the story more than makes up for it.
