aside from max's somewhat immature personality and the sometimes crude presentation (to be direct, max payne makes certain situations purposefully awkward on himself - have some suave max!), max payne 3 (ps3) was a very satisfying, well paced, enjoyable experience. if you like violence, guns, the ability to control time, and brazil, then this game is worth a try. i also wish they utilized the "shoot dodge" feature better, since i felt this was so taxing to your time meter that i ended up never using it, and opting for the "slow time" feature instead, which is much more efficient.

the graphics are excellent, and make sure you play in hd. the musical content is typical of what you would expect from the max payne series, and the level design keeps things interesting and varied enough to keep you engaged. there are little cutscenes here and there, which force you into bullet time and feel like a nice mix of animated cutscene and user-controlled gameplay, and there are also "golden guns" that you can collect which were very satisfying to obtain as walking around with a golden gun, as rockstar has rendered it, is a pretty awesome feeling.

also, good luck on the last scene :) it was very challenging, and i honestly don't know how i beat that
