2 things. 1, I'll be playing Diablo 3 on may 15th. 2, months down the road when I finally get around to playing Max Payne 3, I'll be playing the single player and not this mediocre looking "esports multiplayer". This esports trend is getting way out of hand, just leave it at Starcraft and Counter Strike.
It was going to be released on March 6th at first. I would rather go head-to-head with Diablo 3 than Mass Effect 3 if I was R*.

Hhmm....People seem so easily impressed by these multiplayer videos. I feel the multiplayer will be a disappointment at least for me. Garbage aim assist and the player health is irritatingly low. 1 to 2 shots for a kill, A campers dream. How casual. There is nothing "Competitive" about killing someone so easily or with aim assist...
Moldyspud was right. It's only a matter of time until it turns into Red Dead Redemptions Aimbot infested multiplayer...
@HelghastUser I agree about aim assist, it sucks...but nothing wrong with low or realistic health.
1 Like So much jelly in the comments. Crying about how your better then everyone but your too lazy to get off your ass and compete in the pro leagues. Come on, if you really want to do what these guys do, then I am sure you will find a way.
@InfestedHunter I agree I've been gaming my life and consider myself very good but I only have one friend who I think could actually stand a chance in MLG. Just watch some of their halo videos they are inhumanly good at video games.

What pisses me off is I can more than likely beat these players on a competitive level and so can thousands of others out there but just don't have the time or resources to get to these competitions.
If I could be in MLG I would. It's fun to compete in anything let alone video games.

Love the Max Payne 3 footage. MLG is gay though, for all saying they make a lot of money, most of them work side jobs along with being a professional gamer. Walshy and Tsquared and maybe 1 or 2 others are the only one's making a living off of professional gaming.

1 Like Is the video quality really bad or is this game being run on 8 year old technology? Hmmm... is this multiplayer another 3rd person deathmatch campers and territory garbage? Looks that way. A bunch of smug multiplayer freaks talking highly of themselves and then claiming glitchers or lag when they get killed. Run, run, die, spawn, die, die, run, run, die. How can anyone call this fun? Boring. Same old same same.

ya but the game also was originally for single player and also comin out with a co op dlc
i cant wait to beat this guys in max payne 3 multiplayer, they must be really good, but not enough to overcome good luck or the big amount of unpredictable things that can happen in a multiplayer shooter.
im not bad at online fps either, so it should be fun, if i loose i learn, if they loose they get mad, lol.
the max payne 3 multi doesnt look revolutionary or original, but it looks very solid and fun, and thats enough for single player game.
I'm gonna have to agree with most of the comments by fellow gamers and say that the people in this video have probably had or played the game for a while and are so good that when the game comes out on tuesday and everyone plays multiplayer it'll take the fun out of enjoying the mode due to the fact you'll have people from mlg be playing at a high class/skill level and ruining it for the rest of us lol. then again i know there will be skill matchmaking so i shouldn't be too worried about running into any of these pros online..
I'm still gonna buy the game on tuesday though.
2 Like Game looks awesome and fun. But I don't like the fact these "pro" gamers are playing for £30,000 cash. You'd be surprised but to alot of these guys £30,000 is not alot at all. These "pro" gamers make stupid money of what we do for fun.
4 Like Well i don't like MLG, mainly because most people who are a part of MLG always act like douche bags but I'll most likely watch this just becuse i wanna see more Max Payne 3 gameplay fotage.

I sure wish/hope R* has some DLC for "single player" , they sure did the multiplayer a lot of justice ! or at least I wish/hope again that the "single player" game will play for 10-12 hours ? oh yeah , these guys are impressive ! but , not to me ...
2 Like The multiplayer looks good, but I'm not to psyched about going up against a bunch a pro's who've had the game, and practiced for who knows how long. Kinda takes away some of the fun of the online component. However, I'm still going to play it, and I don't care if I get my ass blown off a million times. It's still gonna be fun.
1 Like Multiplayer looks cool, but i guess will see monday. as for the people playing the game, i dont know how they do it but if i were to play a game to win cash i would completely just drop having fun and smash anyone i can, utterly losing the fun feeling of playing video games. they completely take away the immersion and epicness by putting money in the stakes. i wouldn't focus on anything but winning. i mean joining a tournament some time with some people to win some money sounds nice, but never, Ever as a job.
1 Like Lol, season pass announcing future DLC and ability to form gaming clans on Rockstar website before the release, no trailers on the actual campaign besides cutscenes, all Rockstar needs to do is slap a 'Of Duty' on the box and make it official.
