I really liked the game when I first started. I thought it was fun, with the country representation, customization, etc
However, gameplay, based on the atrocious beta map/gametype, is not favorable.
I don't understand how I'm this awful at an FPS game! I will shoot center-mass, and plug guys with rounds, only to be dropped by them in an instant.
I think there are some damage issues as well as weapon accuracy issues. I've had instances where I can only see an enemies head, will aim, fire, get a hit detector, and the person will not die. Is it not OSK headies?
This may be a frustration post, but I've played this game for a good 4-5 hours and I've only seen my accuracy go up, yet my kills have gone down. I don't understand that. I'm landing more bullets but I'm not killing. A huge issue for me, especially when I see people spray/praying rounds at me from kill cams.

Well pray and spray. I feel your pain. It's mostly due to lag and awful hit detection in the Frostbite engine. I would LOVE to see some client side hit detection, but I'vebeen told that server side is the best and most accurate. F that they need to try something new for once. So when you add lag + crappy hit detection this is what you get. Another EA shooter than will suffer from the same issues found in earlier titles years prior. Actually Battlefield Bad Company 2 fixed a lot of the issues. UNTIL those damn updates rolled through. After that the hit detection became pretty bad by Update #3 including the other updates.
Also the slo-mo kill cam thing is hilarious. The enemies literally spray all over the place and kills you in literally seconds. I'm not sure what Danger Close is trying to achieve with this online gameplay stuff.....but let's hope the Campaign is good. I'm hoping this isn't another BF3.....when the devs focus solely on online multiplayer.

NEW Video Game Remakes Uploadedhttp://www.youtube.com/user/sknocturnalOct 10, 2012 10:04 pm GMT
Well, whatever the issues, be they client or server based, I just want to know how anyone plays this game and does well. Is it solely an internet based thing?
Have I been grouped with bad teams, each and every single game, I've played? (Most likely not because somehow we manage to win at times.
Either way, SERIOUS game play issues such as hit detection, lag, and damage output.
I literally had a guy just appear in front of me wielding a tomahawk tonight. Just...POOF! out of thin air! Canadian with a pornstache clubbing me to death.

I have an issue with the sniper rifle; head shots with a hit marker does not instantly kill an enemy.
Another issue I have actually is the offensive strikes; I just dont know where to place them?
Apart from that the game is running well for me.

Pretty much in the exact same boat TC. The first night the demo was out I had some fun. I was doing pretty well once I got used to the game. Two days later it was a friggin' nightmare. I pretty much play FPS exclusively and I know I'm not a bad player. I could not kill ANYONE. Everybody was a bullet sponge and I was being insta-killed. I know it's not my connection as my speed is more than enough and I'm he only one who uses it.
I deleted the demo but then wanted to give it another go so I re-downloaded it but it was the same old story. I deleted it for a final time and canceled my pre-order. I will admit that a large part of that decision was also based on the absolutely terrible spawn-trapping.
Fool me once, shame on me
Fool me twice, okay now you're just pissing me off

This game is a lot like Crysis 2 to me in that I love a lot of the concepts it puts forth but the technical issues are keeping me from really enjoying myself.
I've already paid for this through GovX for the Military Edition or else I just wouldn't have bought it full price. I don't pre-order usually as I find it to not usually be required but the Project Honor initiative is a good cause and I'm glad a game publisher has taken interest.
Hopefully the single player is a as good as the 2010 edition as that game had a great, albeit short campaign. One of the few shooters that had characters that you could care about in a situation that is totally relevant to todays war. Usually when a character dies I say good riddance (looking at you Dom) but in MoH's case, I felt for not only the dead character but also for his team. It was really well done without ridiculing the situation or the consequences.
