Medal of Honor: Warfighter User Review
- Difficulty:
- Easy
- Time Spent:
- 10 to 20 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Mixed reactions"
Good: If you enjoyed playing the first one, this one picks up right where it left off. The storyline and general single player gameplay are enjoyable, especially when played on a higher difficulty where you feel you have to work. A few unique aspects such as a driving piece make it feel like it could stand out, but it still falls short.
Bad: While the single player is good, it is still fairly bland for this genre. This is definately not a AAA game. A lot of the chapters and settings are just what you would expect and the AI is anything but intelligent. The absolute most disappointing aspect of this game is the online competitive multiplayer. When first started up there are numerous menus for customization. Unfortunetely how to use it and the effects/decriptions are generally unhelpful. Knowing the difference between the multiple countries seems like guesswork. Once you fire up a game and are behind the gun sights you will be shocked with the underwhelming graphics. Feels like a 4 year old B-game. Then you start unlocking things you really won't use and can't keep up with. I struggled to stay interested long enough to learn the system and value of all the unlockable content. Didn't work.
Bottom line: Don't spend $60 on this game. The single player makes it worth renting, but you can get through it in a day or weekend.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter brings some amazing graphics and gameplay to the table, but lacks a compelling story.
