Which one is the superior version and what are the differences?

The differences are all pretty minor: The PlayStation version does some transparencies better, the Saturn version has shorter load times, the FMV is sharper in the PlayStation version, the music is better produced in the Saturn version, etc.

Just get whichever version you have the console for. If you have both a Saturn and a PlayStation, get the version whose controller you prefer for this type of game. If you have no preference as far as that goes, just get whichever one is cheapest.

Also, a PSX copy will probably be cheaper than a Saturn one.
