Actually from what I gather, it IS ecstasy, just much more pure and safer because it's not cut with other dangerous drugs and/or chemicals like it's pill counterparts. It has also been used to treat disorders such as post traumatic stress disorder. On top of that it is apparently pretty safe as long as you stay well hydrated.
Not that I do it, I just think it's better to be informed.
