personally i feel sword play wise and speed raiden is equal to zero. zero's sword is not magic, jsut a consetrated form of electricity. Since light cannot be solid i figured it be like sending a constant stream of lightning that disipitates at a certain range. riaden uses a rod to concetrate his electrical weapon. So i feel they would parry eachother out. Yes zero has taken on things super powerful but so has raiden. i feels zero's buster gives him the edge he needs against raiden.

Swordplay and speed wise? No he's not.

Zero's sword is a beam weapon, i.e pure energy, so no, Zero has the advantage here as well.

Raiden isn't a lifewiper, he hasn't dealt with lifewipers, and his best friend isn't a lifewiper.

Raiden isn't really even close to being able to beat Zero, and that's not taking into account the tons of special weapons and abilities he has.

Oh, hahaha...interesting! At first I thought you meant Zero from Anarchy Reigns (also a cyborg ninja). That is a really good observation about MAVERICK. Not too sure it is accidental, given KojiPros fondness for 'shout-outs' to thier favorite games and movies. Excellent connection. I doub't MMX zero could handle Raiden though...but then again...he took on some crazy stuff himself.

Talking about the original Zero. I hate copy MegamanZero.

    Get out.

If we're talking about Zero from the Megaman Zero series for GBA, then I have to give slight edge to Zero. I think he'd be a little too much for Raiden with all of the special abilities. I'm not sure I can say that Zero is any faster, because aside from that 1 second dash that he has, I don't recall him displaying super speed, and I played MMZ 1-4. If Raiden can parry the z-saber, I think Zero would actually find that he has himself a match. Raiden has taken down countless metal gears and has the skills to pay the bills.

Given that they're on completely different platforms, I don't know that this is one that can be decided for sure. I'd have to see what Zero could do in MGRR, which obviously is impossible.

Megaman Zero's body may be a copy, but he is a true hero in his own soul. Omega is the original Zero.

I don't like MMZ either. People always praise it and I don't know why. It's not even as hard as people say. It's literally cheap because it takes forever to get upgrades. But once you do, the game is ridiculously easy. If MMX did the same where you didn't get upgrades until the end of the game, they'd be far more difficult than Z.

MMZ looks like a little girl.

And I'm sure I touched nerves calling MMZ cheap, prepping "lol you just suck" replies. You shoudl read the entire statement. I beat all MMZ games, btw, and only the first two are "hard" and that's only because you don't get upgrades until the end. Or maybe it's just the first one I'm remembering so much. I remember getting to the final level with no upgrades because it takes years to farm the stuff you need for it. But once I did it my goodness...difficulty went right out the window. And all I did was upgrade my health just a few times.

I quit playing the original MegaMan series when SNES came out. I don't recall anything about a Zero from the original series, from MM8 and earlier. Can you refresh? Because I remember a Protoman, but no Zero. The first time I saw a Zero, OR MAVERICK, was MMX. I am a bit confused, or rather, in the dark.

zero was the last creation of dr. willy, is not clear if zero was created to match megaman x or willy is just a big troll

and zero was created with a virus to infect all the reploids, but sigma was the only infected

in mmx4 you can find more about the story of zero

No much faster? Copy X literally self destructs in his face at point blank and Zero gets away clean, that's stupid fast. People seem to forget the fact that cyber elfs are broken and that Zero can still stop time and make after images of himself that are capable of inflicting damage.
