from my experience most games that get canceled at any point during the development process, don't turn out very good... I have very low expectations for this game. If they really wanted a Japanese developer to help them with a "cutting" game they should have gone to Tomonobu Itagaki.
Metal Gear: Rising seems to be shaping up to be a good game if you like action games. They took all the stealth out of this game but it still might turn out to be pretty kick ass. I guess I'll beleive anything Hideo Kojima says even if he admits he didn't work out the project hands on, LOL.
