I'm only recently new to the Metal Gear Solid Series and my first one played, believe it or not, is Metal Gear Solid. Metal Gear Solid has quickly risen to be one of my favorite games as well as Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater is no different. The vision that Hideo Kojima had for this game was epic.

Snake Eater puts in the shoes of the original snake, the original in which Solid, Liquid, and Solidus came from, Naked Snake. The story revolves around the cold war between Russia and America in the 1960's. Snake is called into the jungle in Russia to safely evacuate a russian scientist named Sokolov, upon successfully rescuing him "Boss" defects to the soviet union and wounds snake. Her motives are unclear, In the mean time Volgin a man whom whats this weapon Sokolov was working on bombs the facility and the Russians have threatened to start a war with America if you cannot prove they did it. Snake gets called in to find and destroy Volgin and The Boss, in Operation Snake Eater.

The Gameplay is refreshing and like the past installments has stealth in it too. this time around you have no lockers to hid in, and you are in the jungle hiding from gaurds, crawling and camoflauge is your best freind. You must also keep your stamina up by eating animals from the wild either killing them or catching them alive. If you haven't played this game nows as good of chance as ever.
