At first i probably would of gave this game a 5 some reasons for that are because: The controls, the problem is you really need the circle pad pro for this, if you don't have one like me you will have to use the y, x, a, and b buttons to move the camera up, down, right, and left i gotta say its atrocious but i blame the 3ds on this more then i do the game. When i started this game up for the first time i played for an hour and a half 30 minutes of the story, 30 minutes of game play, and another 30 minutes of the story so i only got to play the game for 30 minutes out of an hour and a half that's a little ridiculous, also there are many things that pissed me off with the game play first off there was no explaining on how to organize your guns or take them out, i tried looking in the manual which consisted of one page of info and it had nothing to do with how to use and change your weapons. So i tried looking at one of the screens that helped you nothing, i had to figure it out myself you hold right on the d pad and pick your weapon sure it's easy but if your playing this game for the first time, without this information your not going to have a clue, and why did they take the gun i had equipped away from me when I had it equipped before. Anyways they do that throughout the game on certain parts and sometimes your silencer will be on and you will be shooting someone and then all of a sudden it will come off for no reason then you end up shooting it and it will make a loud noise and the enemy will be alerted to your position its a piss off.

Some of the bosses were awesome but others weren't great like The End. He's supposed to be the greatest sniper who ever lived, it took me like an hour and a half to kill him, its annoying hes so hard to find and once you do find him you have to shoot him fast because he will throw a stun grenade and run away. Also The Sorrow was a waste of time all you have to do is keep walking and i timed it you walk really slowly for ten minutes till he kills you and you have to revive yourself, that's just ridiculous.

Now your probably wondering wow you gave this a 9 but you sure have a lot of bad things to say about it well yeah I'm not going to lie this game did have some flaws, but the story, and the game play(After getting used to the controls) were just awesome, the story kept me into this game there were times i just wanted to quit but i always wanted to know what would happen in the next part of the story. While there was some stupid things in this game it was really fun sneaking away from the enemy and sneaking up on them to knock them out. I really thought the characters were voiced well and getting to know snake(or John) for the first time was awesome the voice actor who played him did an excellent job, like i said before this game does have some flaws but once you get past them what you see is an amazing game. I really did like this game and the ending was just amazing made me want to play the whole game again.
