- "Amazing"
Ok, first of all i have to admit it, i HATED this game the first time i played the demo. why? because there is no human way to play this without the circle pad pro, just that. Second encounter: someone just bought me this one for birthday along with the circle pad pro, and again, i HATED the controls once more, so... just when i was about to give up, something happened... I just got the mechanics, miraculously, all became clear and the control scheme started to work pretty well, and then... this game started to climb up from the very bottom of my list, to be one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. Seriously, this game has everything, it is marvelously crafted and the 3d effects are just awesome, the touch screen really helps (the gyroscope is just mehhhh) and besides serious frame rate issues with fire effects, the game looks great, and is really really a must play, if you haven't yet on another platform.
pros: quiet possibly the best metal gear; one of the greatest game ever; tons of fun.
cons: you NEED a circle pad pro; frame rate issues; is not a game designed for a portable machine, therefore don't expect to play it on the bus, because you will need long consecutive time gaps of playing to get somewhere.
i give it a 9 because is really amazing, undeniable great game, but, has its flaws, specially on the aiming mechanics, it feels like the apparent inertia of the hand+weapon is that of someone holding an RPG on the moon.

The game has great: replayability, characters, voice acting, and bosses. Snake is revamped again, available for 3DS!

Despite its flaws Snake Eater remains as gaming's best implementation of stealth gameplay
