Awesome. I'm a huge fan of open world style games. Almost getting to the point where I can't get enjoyment out of linear games anymore, so it's great that Kojima has finally caught the open world bug.  Can't wait to see what he does with it.

My PS3/PS4 will be abused to the sh!thouse with this game. My most anticipated game by far!

Time-of-day should be a given these days... If they already did it in games in 2004...

I'm still concerned about multiplatform release. MGS4 had around 15GB of cutscenes alone and because of that cutscenes it was great. Nobody cares about PC but X360 could be a limiting factor here (I doubt they will make 6-8 disk game).

@igorphoenix Well, hopefully that means shorter cutscenes. That's the part that bored and annoyed the crap out of me in "MGS4".

I don't mind good cutscenes, but they weren't good. They were overly long, not interesting half the time, and the pacing was terrible.

If it were a movie, it would've gotten a lot of criticism for things like that. So no, it's not enjoyable to watch, and especially not if you want to actually play a game when you're sitting there with a controller in your hands.I'm a patient guy, I don't just skip a cutscene within half a minute. But I even fell asleep at one time cause I was basically watching a very uninteresting and slow-paced movie. It basically should've gotten better editing, just many cuts could've been made to move it along and keep it fresh. So I really hope they decided to finally do that and that the game isn't so huge because of cutscenes indeed.

I wonder if the time of day effects the vision of the enemies - so reduced vision at night for example.

@Scorpion1813 Probably, or like guard shift changes at different times in the day? What would the point of a day/night cycle be if that wasn't the case?
