ok so...in history channel armageddon end of the world, now we have lot of games with this theme...fallout, bioshock ( in a way), metro 2033, stalker, movies like armag...day after tomorrow, etc etc...yeap the end of the world is popular...im little tired of this thematic though...guess im off playing ffxVIII until i get happy again..

Yes it does meke186.Bioshock was based off the book,not the plot but philosophy.But in term game play wise no, in story wise,in creating the game yes.So it does have to do something with the book just like metro has something to do with it's book but metro takes it to the next level and follows the book by plot

@tomnuke does atlas shrugged even have to do with atlas i mean hes justa statue and one who moves around and is easy to kill bioshock wise. but reading that book is good for a scholarship

@deezy_f there isn't going to be multiplayer, the developers said it will only be a story driven single player shooter

guys please if anyone knows the name of this music tell me, I am obsessed with this kind of music, i listen to them all the time. You can look up some of the people that make them on youtube. X-ray dog, Immediate music, Audiomachine, Brand-X music, Two steps from hell.

This game definitely has high hopes. I hope they live up to it. I definitely want to see what the multiplayer element's like, if there is one that is.

Well it just seems like games that aren't shown much usually turn out to not be as good as the ones that are, probably cause no one cares cause it's boring and therefore no one shows it. Now this game has been showed alot lately, so I wonder how this will turn out.

I love the fact that bullets = currency in this game. Do I save them to shoot stuff or do I spend them to get new gear? Ah, decisions I'm going to love making. I'm a fanatic over S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Fallout, and Freedom Fighters (not Freedom Force), so this game looks right up my alley. I can't wait for it!

tomnuke, if you remember, Far Cry 2 had a similar clipboard style map/objective concept, although there were still generic hud elements on screen. I love the idea of no hud, though - totally looking forward to getting this!

only 15 more days,i love that there's going to be vehicles,having to walk every where (fallout 3 cough,cough).also in game hud is going to be sick since your always in the game,never ever played a game where you had this,where your mission objective is on a clipboard in the game. The blood looks good to and the splatter effects.Can't wait for the book to,bioshock got me to read atlas shrugged,who say games make you dumber,they got me reading books take that,anti-gamers

Looks great and actually amps the survival with no hud, a map you must manually pull out while being exposed to enemies, ammo is the rarest and most precious form of not only currency but a neccessity for survival. If the game is as dark as this trailer I believe I may just get along with the book. I can read Russian but not as advanced as Glukhovsky. I need a horror survival game Bioshock 2 sucked at that and couldn't hold itself to its former greatness and same with FEAR 2 though FEAR1 wasn't that scary either. Hoping for some roaming ability and not just linear shooter as MW2 does but they do it well.

The Book comes out in english in april i think

um i have a feeling its nots that scary they just make it seem like it i think this will be a great game:) :) :) :) :)
