Miasmata User Review
Very addictive, beautiful graphics (scenery), weak closeup graphics, but OK considering... Random adrenalin rush!

- "Surprisingly good"
20 minutes in and you can't stop playing. Scenery graphics very impressive. Intriguing story in a sandbox interface that grows more interesting the longer you play. Can be complex trying to locate the necessary plants, filling in blanks in the map, and avoiding or escaping from the "creature". Wonderful environment with eye candy at every turn. The heartbeat thump that tells you the creature is near can provide an adrenalin rush that snaps you out of the peaceful exploration. The only weak part would be the closeup interaction graphics which don't do justice relative to the scenic quality. 38 hours from start to finish. Not bad for the reasonable price! Far Cry 3 arrived about an hour into this and I had to stop playing it to go back and finish Miasmata. For an Indie game I would give this a resounding two thumbs up and an easy 8.5. Now, back to Far Cry 3.

Good single play, better water graphic, and story is amazing.
