This game is pretty hard its not impossible but it is pretty dang hard. But after all the crashing, frustration and restarts it is worth it. The game is not as hard as he said it was though. It also way more fun than he made it out to be. Im rating this a 9/10.

Srysly they call this a review? The guy is an idiot, I bought this game last week, and have to say the game is brilliant, Its hard, well yes, but thats the fun in it, theres no short cuts here, you actually need skill and luck, and the AI is very good, I have finally found a game that beats NFS:Underground 2, witch is my favorite Street Racing Game. The level of attention to details, is quite impressive, something you can always expect from a Rockstar game. This Score is simply very underrated, this game deserves a 8.5 minimum

It's funny when he talks about the map

The whole series is difficult, but after a LOT of racing (and swearing), you get used to it. MC3 is a difficult game but it's also the best racing game I have. I can't wait to get this one!

@leok1723 I know what you mean by that--MC2 is the game that took me the longest to beat and it wouldn't shock me if I spent more time trying to beat it (eventually succeeding) than it takes me to beat most RPG's.

leok1723, you are so right. MC2 is probably the single hardest game I've ever played.

this review is terrible... he gave a bad review because he sucks at racing games. i honestly saw this and decided not to get the game when it came out... wtf mostly all the races can be beat on the first or second try... the only races that take more are the time trials.. if the difficulty was the problem try beating midnight club 2... that game was freakin hard... it would have got a 4 if this guy was rating it!

If the game had an accurate depiction of LA, then I would be impossible to race XD 80%+ of the roads are F*** up, making you be careful even when your doing your daily commute.

This game is hard. Although, it's still an awesome game and completely worth the 30$.

I just got this Game a few days ago, and it is Unfriggenbelievable! I is so fast paced, and for a 2008 Tuner Style Racer, I cannot believe the Graphics! I don't know where I was in 2008, but I have just found out about it in the Xbox360 Marketplace... As one of Xbox360's Top Downloaded Games. This Game is in No Way a 7.5!!!! Yes, it is challenging, and may be too much to handle for some, but If I were to rate it, I would give it a 9... LA's City is great to cruise around in, there are always races around every corner, and the multiplayer is Awesome! I have read somewhere that the game is endless, giving me a strange feeling of,,,,- SHould I Stop Playing, Or KEEP GOING????- Plus they have added South Central too, which makes the Game even more than what it was! Love it, and Hope they make another one, so I'll stay AWAY from NFS series... Peace!

i agree the game can be challenging, but not in a cheap way. like a real life race should be, missing a turn or crashing can cost you the race. i was mostly frustrated with the tournaments though, not the regular races

Whats that guy talking about? The map is really easy to understand if you ZOOM IN!! And also the green races are easy, yellow ok and orange and red hard, like its supposed to be. WTF is he going on about!!

All the green races are super easy and the yellows are generally no contest. This guy has a common theme of doing bad reviews.

Is this like Burnout Paradise?

I just love this game. Finally a racing game where you don't just breeze through every race without any real effort. If you win a race here it really feels like a victory. The Day/Night cycle makes this game what the NFS's (Underground, Most Wanted, etc.) should've been. And that's coming from someone who's a big fan of the NFS series. 9 out of 10.

I love racining games i have burnout and IDAS4. Just bought this game today and its alright. It feels a lil better then the PSP version. I still have to say Initial D Extreme Stage is more fun then this. I dont play burnout much to much patches and updates. Ill be playing Midnight Club LA for awhile hopefully it wont be to hard.

dont know what this guy is talking about, this game was not that difficult, i finished it and never really had any problems, yes it punishes you if you make mistakes, but so what, it would be pretty damn stupid if you crashing and taking a wrong turns and then still winning races, if that happened they would be marking it down for being to easy, there is no pleasing some people

This is the easiet MC I've ever played! If you think this is hard, play through Tokyo career from the PSP version of MC:LA.

I don't like this reviewer. a lot of his criticisms seem stupid, like about the map. also, the game's not that hard; all the midnight clubs have been challenging in this way and it's fine with most people.
