Are there any resource cheats/glitches

My sister in law showed me 2 glitches for replicating diamond:
1 - Put it in a dispenser then as the dispenser is being destroyed you remove it and you get infinite diamonds.
2 - Create a complex system of redstone and pistons then place a diamond block whilst it is moving, flick a switch and it produces a long line of blocks.
I think the 2nd one has been patched but are there any working glitches?
I don't plan to use them I just like to know :-)

Why cheat for resources when you can just use creative mode?

You go into the game, and immediately press up, down, right trigger, start, down, a, down, a, in that order for a stack of diamonds.

I was just wondering not planning on cheating I always get a little exciting when I stumble across diamond blocks, but I am slightly special lol.

subjest taking your xbox 360 and throwing it out the window now XD
my friend used to look for glitchs in games like what your doing....
his excuse was always if they didnt want it to happen they would of fixed it right away
like life works like that.... anyway
thay consul banned him for basically abusing to mini glitches in to mini online multiplayer games (thay had a list that included like 12 arcade games, and 20 disc games)
anyway yah its not best to go looking for glitchs/hacks on xbox/ps3 games
it never ends well...

There is, in fact, a way to duplicate blocks that works in this version.
But why would you need it? Creative mode.

1. Boot up creative
2. Fill a double chest with diamond blocks
3. Turn blocks into diamonds via crafting bench
4. Save
5. boot up that map in survival
6. profit
