Can you put cows into Minecarts?

Yes, a cow, or any mob can enter a minecart if it's in close-enough vicinity.There are a few ways this can happen...


- Make a fishing pole, aim at and cow and hook it with LT. Now, stand behind the minecart, and click LT again to pull the cow towards the cart. Repeat until it's pulled into the cart.

- Find/make some wheat and equip in your hand when your near the cow. The cow will start to follow you. Just lead it near the minecart.

They also stay in the carts permanently, unless the latest update patched that. Enjoy!
