- Jan 22, 2013 3:46 am GMTMy world is almost full. I have a few select locations left and I'd like you to add something if you're an advanced builder.
Your work will be seen by many people. The plan is to post this world save file for download on various sites, and to YouTube it if I can find someone to record it.
dayodead has been working in this world since day one. MenuWars built a zombie grinder and some great stuff in the Nether. PersuasionKing made an airboat and designed some castle walls. RockLeeHard2Kil made Capsule Corporation last weekend. 28 people have visited my world and some of them gave me critiques and ideas as they looked around. As you can see I don't allow many people to work in this world. Don't be offended if I say no.
Leave your gamertag here or send it to me in a message.
To qualify you must have a headset. You should already be comfortable with making circles and spheres (plotz). I will need to see some of your previous Minecraft 360 works. You don't have to know everything about redstone but you must be a great architect with taste and developed skills. it's okay if you're an expert in only one style. You will need an idea of what you want to build or you can take one of the concepts from my long list of ideas.
Images of most of the stuff in the world:

I love the NASA Space shuttle and the dam.
Best I've built so far is a house, a mob grinder/xp farm and a stable. With a little tutorial help I built the Light sensor v2 which powers my street lights.
But your world is seriously impressive.

GMT - Jan 22, 2013 3:53 pm GMTI've made light sensors before but what's the v2 about? How did you do you're street lights? Sticky piston holding a block that covers/shows a glowstone? I setup a similar place. Running the wiring and planning the city was a lot of fun. One day we're going to be online at the same time and I'll finally get to see your world.

This. Everyone who loves Minecraft should see this world. It's worth waiting for the chunks to load.
If you ever do build the Serenity please let me know. I'd love to help in any way. My love for Firefly is greater than that of Minecraft.

#1 at absolutely nothing! - Jan 22, 2013 4:59 pm GMTYeah Vivid's world is the most impressive I've seen by far on 360. My work probably lowers the tone if anything. Also *cough* Goonies tour.

Lol. I was going to try to hook up the falling floor in the organ room for you. I finally worked out how to do it without a ton of pistons. But it's cool. We can run it tonight.

~Troll Cannibalism 101~ - Jan 22, 2013 7:07 pm GMTDamn it Box! I was going to play with Menu tonight except now he's waiting on you to let him see the Goonies. *hangs head* But yeah, that's the breast lake in the world. I added the sand outline, a month later I was in the sky nearby and noticed what it looked like and laughed. Later I saw it again and laughed again then decided to add nip islands. PersuasionKing saw it and added the cleavage line in the middle. It's not something I would intentionally make, but it happened and it still makes me laugh when I pass it so it stays.

Glad I wasn't just being a creepy uncle that has a van and it actually was a boob lake.
P.s. who wants candy?

The V2 was the original builders second attempt at the light sensor (search for light sensor v2 and first result should be his youtube video I don't recall the gentlemans name) He explains during the tutorial that the original light sensor used several detector blocks to determine night or day /(grass growing/dying) but several of the blocks had to be alive/dead for it to work so with the variables in grass growth the light sensor wasn't very responsive. The v2 uses only 1 detector block so in theory speeds up this response time. But you still have the variables with grass growth to contend with.
I've played through night and day in my world who knows how many times and i have even used the in game clock to ensure I'm sat outside my house to watch my street lights come on. TBH they nearly always come on as soon as the sun sets and I do not get monster spawns within my lit area.
Yeah they are basically stickies with glowstone above and sand above that to hide them during the day. I am working on a better lighting system but for the time being these are great.
I look forward to finally getting online together and building something immensely complicated or just simply wandering through your world.

I am the redstone master! - Jan 24, 2013 1:30 pm GMTArnora, I was going offline as you logged on last night. I wanted to stay awake but I had been crafting with friends for several hours and was about to fall asleep. I'm off this weekend and I plan on staying up later tonight to game with you. It's just a bad time zone mix we've got between us.
Jaysus, this is that same world. I ended up using a dispenser that chunks an object at some pressure plates. >.>
Everyone, if you want to browse the place, you are more than welcome to.
