This one went on ffffooooorrrrreeeevvveeerrrr, lol. It even conected to a few caves and some tunels had lava coming out the wall. I got so much iron and gold and tracks, I even found a spider spawner. Those webs are a pain in the %&$* to clear out but I did it and put torches on every side so I can go play with it later.

im hopelessly lost in one at the moment... and my pickaxe is almost dead so dont think i can dig my way out... not sure what to do, dont want to lose my loot

If you always have a stack of wood on you, this sort of thing is never a problem.

Interesting. I had been using shears to collect them. I wonder if the sword collects them quicker.

Just wait until you find a stronghold. Then you will be in for some real fun.
I am quite fond of the abandoned mineshafts, though.
