This game got an 8 and it is deserved. It has sooo much potential and the graphics are amazing but that's not the whole picture. I can't play ANYBODy - online lag is unplayable nearly (my connection is smoking fast and I can play all other games just fine) and the computer is too good at betting. Just like GameSpots review. Way to go GAMESPOT for not buying into the hype this year.
honestly the real reason is baseball season is still a month away. As the real life season gets closer the hype for baseball games will increase.
@Coffin_Hollow Honestly the reason not so many sites are putting up reviews for this is because it is so good that there really isn't much of a reason. 2K gets the attention because everyone is trying to see if they got any better from last years sucky game. I guarantee this will be an 8-9.5 rated game.

Dude, I hope they make it so you can build your own stadium and create your own team like in NCAA football.
catcher mode just seems to be more natural to me, i like it. the graphics didnt seem all that hot in this clip though.
If Xbox had this game 2k would be out of the Baseball business. The difference is not even close. Stick to Basketball games 2K
I've been playing this game for 2 days straight and it's great! It improves on MLB 09 and just looks mind blowing on an HDTV. You don't need to wait for a review.... if you love Baseball and own a PS3 this is a no brainer pick up.
hardly anyone is putting reviews up for this game, but they all have reveiws for 2K. If this game was on XBOX the reveiw wouldve been up days ago
Baseball games are sorta something people are into b/c theyre into the sport. Just like most sports games, theyre targeted for their audience and what they like to do for their respective sport. Baseball = Make your own guy/ franchise NFL = Make your own team Basketball = Draft a team
MEH! I just don't get it...despite loving RPGs and the stats and what-not involved, I still find baseball to be as thrilling as a genital wart. If they can make it interesting to me then they'll have really accomplished something. This does seem to be a step in the right direction though.
that looked pretty sick. i wonder if that might get old after a while though? i dunno only one way to find out!!
