How do you activate the in game ticker on MLB 11 the Show for the PS2?

I have the game and I like it but I don't know how to activate the in-game ticker that keeps track of all the games from around Major League Baseball. The new feature for the PS2 version included the bottom ticker (In-game ticker) that keeps track. Where do I find it and how can i activate it. if anyone could help it would be very appreciated thank you!
