What is the best wepon you think to use?

Im still in the begging had to start over so i used longsword and some times bow im wondering what weapon would you perfer to use and why like whats the best melle weapon for you and whats the best ranged weapon for you.... thanks

I've 4 types of weapons that i prefer to use. LS, GS, Duals and Hammer. But there isn't really the best melee weapon, it all still depends on what monster you are slaying or the kind of style you prefer. Same is true for the ranged weapons though the bow is the best weapon to use when it comes to slaying fatalis as well as the duals in terms of melee.
