When i first saw the character selection screen i was shocked by the number of fighters.The new fatality system was pretty meh

The song that began at 2:37 (ish) is also used in the Daxter review

I enjoy his reviews.

i love the amount of characters this game has, but i wanted the old fatalities back

i got my copy for 2 bux havent really played to much of it got stuck on konquest mode.

this was the 2nd worst mk game the worst being mk vs dc this game was just very dissapointing rly it was not very good mk deception and shaolin monks were the best so far o and u cant forget about mk 2 and umk 3

im not much of an MK (well the recent ones anyway) fan but this IS the best in the series as far as im concerned

only cost 4.99 in gamestop used only till june 17, 2010. pretty good deal huh?

armageddon is best in series in my opinion. i strongly disagree with the 7. it should be a 9 or 8.5 at least

After seeing this video I can assume these things. A game devs created this game HAVE NO IDEA of: 1) Why Mortal Kopmbat games were so popular and LOVED whe they came out. 2) Devs have NO IDEA how atlest so so normal Fighting Game should look/feel like. They live in a cave of some kind or just want to get fast cash without trying hard (95% chance in this case). Also I can assure you that playing this as PRO would be complete LOSS of time. And all So So players would definately get this after seeing this garbage. Unless u want to play it fore some time and then forget. BECAUSE... 1) you will never or EVER find any good opponent or rival to fight with because all Best Fighting Game players are playing something else. From the looks, even mediocre players would avoid this game. AND THAT means...that there is NO POINT in mastering game and your choosen favourite char. Not worth spending time simply. ON TOP OF ALL THAT. No noob or rookie would play this game for long ANYWAY. Its sux not only for pro players who COULD ignore graphics and sound ect cause of gameplay...but it completely SUX in animations, graphics, game physix sucked. Looked like MK 2 had better engine than this realy specialy for TODAYS time. So... No noob player who goes for graphics would pick it up. no pro player would spend time on it. Mediocre fightin g fans would still go play tekken or SF4. So? Unless ure TOTAL nostalgic MK fan ... But if ure nostalgic fan I still suggest u play with friends MK2-MK3 from time to time AND moove on forward (atleast with games). Its not worth it!!

I HATE MK....until I got the Mortal Kombat triple pack with Deception, Armageddon, and Shaloin Monks...lol, I'm a Mortal Kombat nerd now....

This is a great, great game for the ps2. Smooth graphics, gory and fast paced. Fatalities may be not as good as in past ones, but I think It's a small detail overall. If you are a MK fan, you won't be dissapointed with this!!
