The what-we-thought-was-gonna-be endless road of legendary fighting games from Midway finally had to stop when it took a detour to Boring Lane and Ho-Hum Boulevard. Slap in lame comic characters, make them fight with Kombatants and strip everything good. That is MKvsDCU in a nutshell.

THE GOOD

The best visuals I've seen in a MK game, models and environments alike. There's a storyline...not an interesting storyline...but a storyline.

THE BAD

Oh, here we go... Not-easy-to-memorize move list, even to date. I don't even know how to punch and kick anymore. Captain Marvel? Do you even know who that IS? You choose that guy when you have Aquaman, Aqualad, Atlas, the list goes on? What kind of a company are you? (And then there's not even any DLC...)

Kano's stomp fatality is not a fatality. It has to be a special move. Or at least a heroic brutality. But Kano's not from DC!! Speaking of heroic brutalities, that's another aspect to rant about. Just because they are good, means they have to finish off good? Please hit the applause button. And this is the worst thing about the game. The gore is toned down. Toned down. TONED DOWN!!! Midway would never make (let alone encourage others to play) a game without at least one person getting their head ripped off! Slap me with a cucumber and call me a bit of a pickle, but that's just wrong. Especially the fact that because of this, it got a T rating. GET OUT OF MY HOUSE NOW!

This game is not the best MK game, let alone fighter, invented, and that is final. I didn't like the game, and neither will you. Save your money. This thing sucks. (As quoted by Jane Lynch at the end of the Glee 3D Concert Movie trailer...)
