So, how long is this game? Gametrailers says 6 hours, but IGN says 20 hours =/ That's a big difference, so which is it?

This Game is pretty much Odin Sphere, and i just finished Odin sphere it was a fun game so i expect this one to be fun to. Though it might be also become repetetive over time.

Game looks really fun and beautiful artwork, will probably be purchasing this soon.

Hes wrong about a lot of things in the review, but even so, just from the way he talks about the game, you can tell he likes it. Probably wasn't given a higher score just because they didn't advertise on Gamespot.

After seeing the score they gave I can finally abandon gamespot, usless revewies. GameFaqs' still the best thou.

This game looks great...it's one I plan to get soon. I agree with you Anime Fan, I wanna see more games in this style. That's one reason I love Wario Land on Wii--the hand-drawn graphics.

This title looks pretty sexy, it's on my list :D I love 2D games, the guys at VanillaWare are churning out some spectacular titles.

They didn't say anything about the Japanese style music, as well as the Japanese voices and Japanese sword names...wouldn't they think thats cool? Instead of a sword called something corny.

Frank? take it easy and learn to write without caps, it only makes reading anoying and hard,... I can agree do that this game deserves much more than a 7.5, just exactly like Odin. I supose that Gamespot likes to be tuff... Gamespot can be unfair, so I usualy check other online reviewers... and in special player reviews as negative aspects of some games can actually be in fact be a good thing for some players. I remember playing games that years later I looked at a gamespot review thinking "are they for real? but I LOVED that game!!!" Use reviews as guide and preview. Not as a set by stone number. Also, bad games can help you apreciate the good ones!

I can tell by the other reviewers that Gamespot could have easily placed a 8 instead... maybe its a rent or buy for cheap? I got Odin and I really like it. But I never got to finish it... It ended having some real lag problems in some areas.

Ah, makes me wish I had a Wii...and very, very few games make me wish that. Game looks beautiful, and although the combat doesn't look all that special, the art style would be more than enough to distract me.

Great review Tom. How about a suggestion though: how about including your point score at the end of the video with the pros and cons. Saves time having to switch to the text review. Just a suggestion that might streamline things a bit. Still, good review. I think I might just pick this up since my Wii is gathering dust.

this game needed more combos

looks like a nice gsme, but i would rather have a fantasy medevil setting, than japanese, but that's just me... maybe i'll pick it up, but really isn't my cup of tea... it's nice to see 2-d brawlers are being released, even if it isn't to much fanfare... always a fun game type to see resureface...

Sorry forgot to mention that I am most definitly getting this game. Not just because of the most beautiful art i've seen in a long time But because I like Vanillaware's games. Odin Sphere and Grim Grimoire are worth a looksy. I loved the review i read in Play magazine check it out people. They go into GREAT detail as to WHY this game is the way it is. Also They are working on another game similiar to what they have already done and let me tell you, I'll be there!

Why does this reviewer sound like he was reading from a script? Also, Why does he assume that the combat elements are simple for EVERYONE? Maybe other people will have problems, i had surgery on my left shoulder recently, so I figure control will be difficult for me. Mostly because I want to play it the way it's ment to be played with the wii controller and the nunchuk.

lol is the guy doing the review a robot? he doesnt sound like hes enjoying and even putting any effort or anything into what hes saying. Its like hes reading a script but in exactly the same boring tone throughout the whole thing. Game looks pretty kool tho for a Wii game

i played that jap vesrion ( import ) and i really like the game and the difficulty is nothing to laugh at... yes ur press the attack button most of the time but the constant need for stronger swords because of the constant change in enemy difficulty plus the very hard challenges witch is hard on the normal difficulty... i really like it and but the lack of enemy's do takes it's toll

The waves look exactly like they are taken from that classic Japanese painting The Great Wave off Kanagawa which is totally awesome.

Omg this guy sounds like his about to fall asleep reviewing this game.I had to stop half way threw because i was starting to fall asleep! Ign has way better review's GS needs to step it up!
