@snes_vs_ps1 Not so! the 2000's were anamazing decade for games! Half Life 2, Far Cry, Crysis, World of Warcraft, Halo, Ninja Gaiden, Perfect Dark, Assassin's Creed, Gears of War, Uncharted, Forza, Devil May Cry, Pikmin, Resident Evil 4, The Witcher, Grand Theft Auto....and the list goes on and on. 2000's were amazing for games.

I actually always found it pretty gruesome when the Prince fell into a pit with spikes. I guess that was just because of my realization what happened. So I found it quite disturbing. I also found the aggressive sword-guys quite scary. But that was more because of the threat. Those older graphics have always been more "eerie" to me, you know. The more realistic it is, the more "normal" I find something today. But then with the introduction of even deeper atmospheres with particle-effects and such and better audio does make it "scarier" again.
