I mean it's cool that they have new stages but come on. If sasuke really did get knocked off the building he wouldn't die, he's a frickin ninja. Idk about this one, if they make spammy attacks weaker each time you use them I'll get it.

Here's a Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 gameplay ciip featuring Minato and Sasuke battling.
Obviously, the death by environment is not really appealing to me. It is a good addition, but they kind of went overboard with it when it actually kills you when you nearly have 1 whole lifebar left. This makes you want to conserve your chakra for jutsu spams, and never actually use your ultimate jutsus.
One other thing: I don't like how your "assist" characters save you from falling out of the battlefield. I don't mean it how it sounds. I literally mean that I don't like HOW they do it. It looks so corny to me...it's kind of awkward too. If you look at how Suigetsu saves Sasuke at 00:32 you can see that the slow-motion is there. They tried to make it dynamic, but they failed to do so in my opinion. It just looks corny to me.
Another thing that will make this game even worser is if this rule apply for single matches. Some one can be a pro at the game and can manage to kill you quickly if he study the way to knock off people off the stage. That take away all the fun and mechanics of actually killing your opponent and leaving more jutsu spams to survive.(unless knock off stages is optional then I will aprove of this game) Also I think not all stage will have knock off stages.
So my conclusion is that they improve the way to make the background come alive but if they have knock of stage in all stages then this game is not going on the right path (In my opinion)

@flameon12346 Yes, I agree. The fact that ring outs are one-hit KO's completely isolates the use of ultimate jutsus since you can spam Fireball Jutsu and knock them out the ring.
I already hated the substitution mechanic since Ninja Storm: Generations. It upsets me how that part of the game works. If one person lands the first attack on another player, that other player is screwed if they use one of their four substitutions. Think about it: if they have 3 more left, I can just keep attacking them physically and "up close and personal" without worrying about me running out of substitutions, since I will at least have 1 left over by the time they finish using up all 3 of their's. It's really annoying.
Substituting should take up chunks of your CHAKRA bar. It forces you to focus more on chakra and it feels more intense that way. If you have no chakra left, you are *ssed out because your opponent can just chakra dash and destroy you, and you can't substitute. JUST LIKE THE ANIME WOULD HAVE A CHARACTER LOSE A FIGHT IMMEDIATELY IT IF A CHARACTER RUNS OUT OF CHAKRA.
I like how they made the background stage more visible and can interact in the gameplay. (I don't know how to say it, I tryed) But the last part when Sasuke had full orange HP and lost because he got blowned out of the stage was a let down. That take out all the fun out of the game. It like a Def Jam game now. I am so dissappointed on this game.
