I've looked at the reviews but they're pretty low. I was quite impressed with all the animated videos they have from the anime and the roster we got. I like UNS2 and UNS1, hell I still play UNS2 to this day. Is this game worth the 60 dollars? My gamestop didn't lower the price yet, and my birthday just passed so I got the money.
Anything bad I should worry about?

Additions like combo cancelling and the sub gauge make this a much better game than NUNS1 and NUNS2.

Just because someone from GFAQS/SPOT doesn't like a game doesn't mean it's a bad game. I enjoy this game myself, it is vastly improved from the previous games.

This. Best way to find out if this is worth it is to try the game yourself.

Heeeeeeell naw.
Although MANY people will tell you that this game is "vastly improved", all the negatives are too numerous to make the small little changes significant and it ends up being just as bad if not WORSE than NUNS2.
So do yourself and your wallet a favor and wait till this game hits the bargain bin.

This, if you want to pay $60 a game with broken mechanics, over-centralized gameplay, a trash online community and simplified gameplay, be my guest.

Please tell me how the NUNS2 sub system is better than Generations sub bar. And how many times combo's were viable in NUNS2. And how it was balanced better than this game?
In Generations, every character is viable to use. NUNS2 not so much.
Sure, there are some overpowered characters with invincibility frames and crazy guard breaking jutsu's, but it is much better than its forerunners IMO.
Seriously, if you play this game with friends it is amazing. I only find things to hate about it in Ranked matches, and that's only if I do not check their used characters.

Don't buy it. At best, rent it.
I'd encourage you to wait for Storm 3. You own Storm 2 and I assume you owned/played Storm 1, so buying Storm 2.5 doesn't seem like the smartest thing to do. If you hadn't played Storm 1 or Storm 2 for any reason, I'd say definitely buy this game. But the changes are not numerous/impressive/clever enough to warrant a full pricetag. Especially since, as far as I can tell, the single player
and online are difficult to enjoy.

unless you're itching to play with the 10 or so new characters or try out the new game modes then i'd say wait for storm 3. i bought it since i just like having all the games but im still enjoying it really. the single player is good enough and online is pretty fun even though im not on often. the game is a bit better playing with friends but i wish the tourneys had more competitors since having a max of 8 entries kind of sucks. i spend most of my time in survival.
things ppl complain about (in the order that comes to mind):
1. no free roam/boss fights for story (shouldnt even be a complaint because it was to be expected since this isnt storm 3)
2. sub bar (the reloading time seems random occasionally)
3. X character isnt in that was shown in the manga but not the anime yet (lol i know how it sounds but ppl still did this)
4. support only characters (im more accepting of this and and #2)
5. long ranged fighters still "cheap" (i say its just how they're supposed to be played but its whatever really. i just dont have a problem with it)
6. masked man, onoki, and other characters in this category of "cheapness" (i've never had to deal with them online so i will reserve my judgement for later. i usually dont mind stuff like that though.)

for me,its a great game, but its not balance though, depends on what you search for me,i have alot of fun despite being abuse by mask men and deidara

not exactly balanced in many areas , but its a vast improvement from storm 2 IMO

Id say rent it first, especially since you played Uns 2. But $60 is way too much for this game. Like previous posters said the improvements are not that many over storm 2 but the broken and unbalanced mechanics are very apparent in this game. Do like I did and snag a copy off craigslist or Ebay, got mines for $30

Never bought Storm 2 so I buy this game.
Trust me,if you had Storm 2 before,I really do not recommend paying full price for this game.
Despite two good things added to the gameplay,it is simply not worth $60 for a game with two improvements in the gameplay,a story with terrible dialogue(cinematic are good but that's it) and some gimmicky modes that you usually see in almost every fighting game.
If you never had Storm 2,buy it.
