I wish there was a way to change your player's voice in Mycareer

I don't expect them to have every accent ever and from every country. But if I make a European player he shouldn't sound like a dude from the hood. I wish we had at least a few different voices/tones your player can speak in.

Yea, I just can't help feeling like my guy is such a ****ing poser. He's white and has a beard, like me in real life, yet he talks like a "gangsta." Worst part is it's Drake, so it sounds really lame and forced, making it all the worse.

yeah drake's voice is annoying. anyone find it funny that in the nba 2k my life facebook game there is only one white character to choose? they give you like 7 choices and 6 of them are black.

It's the same voice from 2k11 and 2k12 and I remember reading that he was the voice in 2k11 on the 2k forums.

Saw ronnie2k put that it would be a ton of work to put in a new voice. Something about havin to change every scenario where your player talks. I'd rather them focus on the gameplay then worrying about how a player talks.

Some of you people are a trip. Over 80% of games are cast with a white lead and you people have an issue playing a game where 78% of the players are actually African American. You people almost killed yourself with Crackdown 2, nearly jumped in moving traffic when you had to play most of Assassin's Creed 3 as a Native American instead of a white man, had a nervous breakdown when Prototype 2 came out and now that they are using a voice that is reflective of the majority in the NBA you want to whine. Get enlightened people.

Were you around when Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas announced the main character was a black guy? People lost their
minds, and continued to do so even after the game came out.
But I do agree that I wish there were more voices. The guy doesn't sound "gangsta" at all (I haven't heard him curse once, nor has he threatened anyone), but it would be nice to have some customization.

I cracked up laughing at this, thank you. I really wish the guy had better grammar but who cares, it's really not that big a deal. The more ethnic backgrounds, minorities groups, and differing opinions that get represented at the forefront of games the better.
Remember when Assassin's Creed first came out and people found out it was a Muslim killing Christians, that was some serious drama.

I forgot about GTA: SA. That was one of the greatest games ever made but some people with repressed bigotry couldn't look passed the fact you played as a typical video game character who just happened to be black. Not one person on this board had an issue playing as Kratos even though he was Greek and didn't look like anyone walking the face of the planet. Yet you have a young character like CJ (I think that was his name) who probably is more representative of the people who play games except he is black. Folks can relate to Alex Mercer but not James Heller?
