Need for Speed Most Wanted User Review
- Difficulty:
- Just Right
- Time Spent:
- 10 to 20 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Mixed reactions"
PRO's: improved gameplay, rewind, police, a lot of great cars, free roam, challenges, more race types, unique cars, no need for free roam anymore, destructibles, a lot of short cuts.
CON's: worse customisation than the last game(s). not much variety, no dyno :'(, no circuits.
The game is good because you can see the pro's outscaling the con's. But i really miss the tuning and the circuits. On the other side, they added police and more race types wich are described under this sentence.
Speed trap: this race is not about first place, you race acroos the landscape but there are speed traps scattered around the track. You need to have a higher speed than you opponents when you pass the speed trap to take the lead the player with the highest total score wins.
tollbooth: you are the only driver in this mode and you race against the clock from point to point. On the track there are tollbooths that you have to pass to get extra time.
Boss battles: to become the number one on the blacklists you HAVE to win these races. If you do not you cannot get further into the campaign until you win. On the other hand, if you do win you can get further and you can win the car of your blacklist rival, special tuning or performanche upgrades or free out of jail passes.
The goal of the games is simple: beat everyone to win your BMW m3 gtr back from razor.
score calculation.
gameplay: 9/10
upgrades: 6/10
variety:8/10
unlockables :10/10
not campaign stuff: 6/10
campaign:9/10
fun factor:8/10
56 : 7 = 8/10
