- The Bottom Line:
- "Boring"
With the new introduction to ea's next title would this be the next epic need4speed edition we can call home, short answer yes long answer no.
Theres things a fan would certainly point out, its no doubt assessable for most audiences but the truth will be revealed below.
Story: Ever since the first nfs was released on pc gamers cringed on awesomeness: cockpit view insane visuals that would take any narly on ride inside theme park and passed large massive canyons check here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJRUajHLrE4&feature=related,
but over time the franchise has had many cosmetic face lifts some memorable some not so and this is one of those not so memorable stories.
Game play:Some fun some not, but with criterion at the helm many speculations surface on what makes this a good game, since we all know what criterions renowned for: "destruction" "chaos" and "value for money, ea's would be partly to blame!!
Would i say this would be fun game for non need4speed fan, hell yeah... but then again would it also be fun for real need4speed fan? no, infact those who are would be better off with need4speed hot pursuit, infact theres a good possibility since it has same game mechanics from need4speed 2005 (most wanted),
bonnet view,
manual gear shifting and feels more natural.
Need4speed 2012 editions got no manual, only 2 camera views, no alterations to how you would like to play. in-fact your better of with burnout paradise as this games half of what burn-out paradise is. but with all the problems this game has there is one good news, police chases are invigorating and will surely make you feel like star.
Graphics:Very polished, no stone unturned, a breathing living world to love no matter what the speed is.
Sound:Breathtaking and always the best with all ea titles.
Multiplayer:strong similarity's to burnout paradise, but online pass needed to obtain achievements now.
Pros:Beautiful lively world, lovely cars to choose from, superb sound quality as usual, challenging law enforcers, very polished visuals, competitive multiplayer.
Cons: Obtaining cars is unrewarding and insulting, multiplayer pass, confusing online multiplayer objectives, no manual or sequential manual gears, no bonnet view like in hot pursuit, no moderate customisations,

Worst Need for Speed game to date. The Run is better.

Just awful. Debilitating difficulty and average graphics compared to others
