The game looks great, but I've been fooled into buying bad NFS games several times before, so I'm waiting until I see the reviews for this.

Evan after all these years since Gran Turismo 3, EA STILL has yet to figure out how to make realistic looking wheel spin. I mean...really? All that Madden money and they still can't make rims look like they're spinning?

This looks boring to me. I understand that multiplayer is probably the real deal, but still. I gotta agree with @thesuggestion - the limited visual damage on some of those huge hits is ridiculous even for an arcade racer. Where does driving skill come into it? If you want a great arcade driving/racing game, get Driver: SF. Yeah, visuals are so-so, but the driving itself is top-notch; the cop chases are great fun; damage modelling is visually impressive; and there are stacks of missions and variety.
i don't even need to watch the trailer! player views are enough to make me realize that the production team, has lost the true meaning of being "most wanted"!

Im just curious does anyone think this game is worth getting ? because its not like the original MW seems to me it takes on a burnout approach im stuck between this game and going to pick up xcom enemy unknown
stop playing need for speed since the hot pursuit, this is also stupid...dont know when to start playing racing game again...all racing game are so stupid, GT5 was great, but it gets boring along the game...

4 Like Utter crap! This is a disgrace to the original Most Wanted. I dont expect the exact same but I do expect the new game to pay homage to the original. No storyline, no character development, no vehicle customization, you can buy upgrades in the middle of a race or chase....fucking stupid. OOO YEAA....good graphics....big fucking deal lol.

3 Like Wow, you would figure it's a no brainer for a developer to NOT include tires magically repairing themselves in the middle of a desperate escape from the cops. I think I would rather buy a whole block of rotten cheese for $50 than ever buy a game this dumbed down. Stop making games like this for the stupid people, we're trying to weed them out of society.

People have been moaning about the lack of customisation in NFS for years, and yet you ignore us and persist with this standard racing game crap.
Hopefully R* will make a new Midnight Club soon anyway and show you how its done. Its hard to believe that the NFS series was better than MC at one point, but it was, EA.

Is this game meant to rush you up and down and no break whatsoever? And why they refuse to add the playback????? Why they still don't want to add the thing that racing game featured at its best, a playback?!? Not forcing, but playback makes the racing game a little more fun to watch!
If they have manual gearbox setting and fully remappable controls I might be interested. I skipped the first Criterion NFS game what was it called.. Hot Pursuit . because of lack of manual gearbox. Too bad because it looked very nice. And The Run sucked mainly because it forced me to use controls I haven't used to.
I loved what Criterion did with Hot Pursuit, it felt like for the first time in year...a true nfs game with no bs storyline just amazing cars and beautiful locales. This looks to be even more amazing!

Lol a TRUE NFS......... You don't seems to know what that is. NFS was about Nice cars and GOOD HANDLING no shit criterion burnout handling.
2 Like @Gamer_4_Fun I think the no storyline is ok for Hot Pursuit, but Most wanted almost needs it, I mean, why would you want to compete against other 10 drivers if you can't actually see who they are, the trailers I've seen so far make it look like you are competing against a bunch of cars and numbers without caring a little about who is driving them.
I really get your point about the storyline, Porsche unleashed didn't need it, NFSII: SE didn't need it either, and a lot of great Need for Speed games didn't have a storyline and they were very good, I just think Most Wanted is not the case
