Rarely, do I see videogames be made into simple advertisements for commercial products. Let alone good ones. This game is surprisingly decent. It offers a nice variety of modes and smooth controls and car physics. Other than that though it is just a typical racing game in which you can select from a wide variety of Porsches. It doesn't necessarily do anything special or unique and is thus one of the most disappointing Need for Speed titles available to date. I don't like when companies delve into media with the intent of showcasing their products, however, I think Porsche and Electronic arts have pulled off a halfway decent feat with the development of this game. Admittedly though, without the Need for Speed name I would have probably ignored Porsche Unleashed all together. I'd recommend this game to Porsche enthusiasts and racing fanatics alike but only from a collectors mindset.
