Why are my skills missing?

Whenever I level up or try to look at my skills on the character screen none of them show up, as a result I can only use the recommended skill gains on leveling up. Does anyone know what causes this or how to fix it?

no mods I keep getting errors when i try to patch further currently the Auto updater says: Your game version is: 1.10.1116 English

I am using no mods, no cracks, nothing that wasn't on the original store bought CD. Except for updates from the autopatch.

Are you using any mods? And have you patched the game?

Are you using a noCD crack? or did you alter any of the files?

The inability to patch is due to the file being altered, perhaps you did that unintentionally while using the toolset. Backup your saved, character bics and reinstall the game then repatch it.
