Neverwinter Nights is a robust RPG based off the rules and universe of 3rd edition Dungeons & Dragons. The core game, as well as the expansions offer vast and in depth single player adventures, which can also be played multi player online and on LAN.

Those familiar with D&D should be able to quickly wrap their head around the technical aspects of the game. It is however assessable enough so that even those who aren't aware of the existence of twelve-sided dice can get a handle on it.

Even after the core campaigns are complete, the game has endless replayability, due to the massive bank of player-made content available. For it's price, Neverwinter Nights: Diamond is an absolute steal, and a must for any RPG fan that somehow let this masterpiece slip through their fingers the first time around.
