Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide User Review

- The Bottom Line:
- "Old-school"
I know this isn't a terrific game but it has a certain quality, an inescapable charm to which I have surrendered many hours. It's not as epic as the original and it makes you start a new character, but it's easier to get into and surprisingly engrossing. Some of the writing is bad and the plot spreads pretty thin at times, but it's fun... like a cheap date, or a stick of cotton candy (not to say the game is all fluff)... and well the desert tileset is cool... and the scorpion people are fun to kill... new spells and stuff... i sound like an idiot.

Shadows of Undrentide is a decent expansion that offers a few new things to the main game.

Shadows of Undertide provides a solid D&D 3.5 experience while adding some cool content but, has a weak plot.

It will be a better gaming experience if it's meant for mid-high levels instead of from scratch again.

It was better than the Neverwinter Nights campaign at least.
