My game crashes when I try to run it?

I have Windows 7. I installed the game plus both expansion packs. I installed the patches through 1.69. However, when I click to play - the game just flickers and dies. Any help?

Have you tried XP compatibility? Then my advise to you is go to NWNWiki and check the article "windows" and "windows mode" and post a question on its talk page. Some very smart people are working there, and it's very frequently visited by lots of people, and worked on daily.
